BREEDERS
Johnny Potseed
For a long time, he asked that nobody use his name.
Because of this Frankenstein is still listed in most places as breeder and lineage unknown.
Johnny learned cultivation on his grandfather’s farm.
In the 1960s, he earned the moniker Johnny Potseed by roaming the country scattering seeds in places it might thrive and even a few places it wouldn't, like town squares and the Washington Monument.
He earned Master Grower status in the mid-1970s and moved his operation indoors after starting a family in the early 1980s.

FRANKENSTEIN
In the late 1990s, Johnny set out to breed a custom medicinal strain, selecting seven top-tier varieties from the twenty most consistent on the market.
Over five years—three and a half years of intensive cross-breeding and logging across thousands of Solo cups, plus eighteen months of stabilization—he perfected the strain he called Frankenstein.
Named for its patchwork lineage, the strain delivers balanced medicinal and recreational effects that daily users never build a tolerance to.
She was kept clone-only for over twenty years.
Only recently, clones were reversed and used to pollinate other Frankenstein clones, producing the first feminized seeds now available here.
